This page will guide you through the step-by-step migration process to import Seqrite Endpoint Protection 8.x data of endpoints, groups, and policies to Seqrite Endpoint Protection Cloud.
Migration Process Overview
This migration process will facilitate the transfer of data, including groups, policies, and endpoints, from EPP 8.x to the Cloud. After exporting the necessary data from the EPSNG Server and importing it into the EPP Cloud tenant, you will find all the migrated EPSNG endpoints in offline mode. Next, download the .dat file and issue the migration command for the migrated endpoints via the EPP Console under Client Actions.
Importing Data
To import the EPP 8.x data, follow these steps:
- Go to Seqrite Endpoint Protection Cloud Console > Deployment > EPP Migration tab.
- Select EPP 8.x to Cloud as your migration source.
- Click Import Data to import the previously downloaded data from the EPSNG Server. For detailed information on the export and download process, please refer to this page. After Import all the data including policies, groups, and endpoints will be imported. The migrated endpoints will be in offline mode initially.
- Download the Client Migration File, which includes the tenant information for endpoint migration.
- Issue the Migrate command from Status > Client Actions. This will initiate communication between all migrated EPSNG endpoints and the EPP Cloud Server.
