The Users option allows you to add and manage user of Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management console. After you add a new user to the Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management console, you can edit the details and assign the admin privileges to the user.
Note: If you have purchased Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management along with Seqrite Centralized Security Management console, you can add users from the Seqrite CSM console only. You can only modify the roles from the Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management console.
Advanced Search for Users
The Advanced Search option on the upper-right side of the Users page allows you to perform an advanced search of the users.
To find users with the Advanced Search option, follow these steps:
- Log on to the Seqrite EMM console and in the left pane, click Users > Advanced Search. Advanced search parameters are displayed. Note: By default, only three search categories are displayed. To customize the categories, click Modify and select the desired category check box.
- Select the required search parameters. The search parameters are as follows:
- Select Device Ownership: Select either Personal or Corporate to search the users by the device ownership.
- Select Admin Role: Select the option from the list to search the users according to their user role. Select Created By: Select this option to search the users according to their creator name.
- Click Search. To reset the selected criteria, click Reset.
Users List Page
The Users list page displays all the users available in the Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management console. On Users list page, you have a privilege to choose the table columns of your choice. You can select maximum of four columns only.
When searching users with respect to any criteria, make sure the criteria-related column is available in the table. The table shows the information about all the available users.
Note: At a time, only four columns can be selected from the Filter column list on the Users list page. If symbol A is shown next to the User Name, then it indicates that the selected user is an Admin.
Import Users from Seqrite Centralized Security Management
All the Seqrite Centralized Security Management admin and end users can be imported to Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management console.
To import the users from Seqrite Centralized Security Management, follow these steps:
- Log on to the Seqrite EMM console and in the left pane, click Users.
- On the Users page, click Import from Centralized Security Management.
Seqrite Centralized Security Management Users are imported to Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management and added to the default group.
Taking an Action on Users
The Take Action list appears on the Users list page when you select single or multiple users. The available options in the Take Action list are:

Enrollment Request: To send an enrollment request to Android and iOS devices.
- Delete: To delete the selected users.
- Data Breach Report: To get the details about data breach incident that occurred through the compromise of user’s email ID. It gives details such as breach name, breach domain, breach type, and breach date where information has been disclosed. On selecting this action, the admin will receive notification and report in CSV format.
Note: Data Breach Report feature is an ad on feature. By default it is off. - Select the required Take Action option and its sub-options (if any) and click Submit.
Editing Admin User details
Assigning Privileges to admin user
To assign privileges to a user, follow these steps:
- Log on to the Seqrite EMM console and in the left pane, click Users.
- Click Edit icon for the user you want to assign privileges on the Users page.
- On the User Details page, click Edit tab.
- In the Privileges section, select Allow admin access.
- From the Admin Role list, select an admin role.
The Privileges are displayed.
You can assign admin roles as required.
- Click Save.
Using Visibility Restriction to assign visibility to admin user
To assign visibility to a user, follow these steps:
- Log on to the Seqrite EMM console and in the left pane, click Users.
- Select the admin user and click Edit icon to assign visibility to the groups on the Users page.
- On the User Details page, click Edit tab.
- In the Visibility Restriction section, select the groups as required.
- Click Assign Group Visibility.
Editing Users
End users imported from Seqrite HawkkEye are assigned to the default group.
- Log on to the Seqrite EMM console and in the left pane click Users.
- Select the user and click the Edit icon.
- On the User Details page, click Edit tab.
- You can do the following as required:
- Upload photo
- Enter mobile number if not added
- Click Save.
Exporting Users
You can export user details in PDF format.
To export user details,
- Log on to the Seqrite EMM console and in the left pane, click Users.
- Select the user and click the Edit icon.
- On the User Details page, click Overview tab.
- Click Export. The PDF file containing user details is downloaded.
Overview and edit user details
After the user is added to the Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management console, the User Details page is displayed. You can view and edit the entire personal information or assign the admin privileges to the selected user.
For example, if you want to assign the privileges to another user to manage the Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management console, you must select the user and assign the respective user role type with the help of Edit tab. You can also view the number of devices enrolled or enroll a new device to the selected user.
To navigate directly to the User Details page, follow these steps:
- Log on to the Seqrite EMM console and in the left pane click Users.
- In the Users table, select the user name and then click the Edit icon. The User Details page is displayed with the following options:
- Overview: Shows the personal information of the user enrolled with the Seqrite Enterprise Mobility Management console. The personal information includes First Name, Last Name, Email, Photo, Phone No., Mobile No., Last Login, Enrolled Devices, and Admin Role (Type). You can also view the date and time when the user was created. In addition, you can enroll a device through the available options; Enrollment via email/SMS, QR code, and Enrollment with ADO Enablement.
- Edit: Allows to edit the personal information of the user. The Edit tab includes the Edit details, Privileges, and Visibility Restriction sections.
Exporting Data Breach Report
To export the data breach report, follow these steps:
- Log on to Seqrite EMM console and in the left pane, click Users .
- On the Users page, select the user and click the edit icon for which you want to export the data breach report.
- On the User Details page, click the Data Breach Report.
- Click Export.
The data breach details such as breach name, breach domain, breach type, breach date is displayed.
The data breach report is exported in the PDF format.
