Endpoint Threat Hunting (ETH) Server enables you to search MD5, SHA1, and SHA256 hash types of suspicious files in all your endpoints in one go. On this page you can add the ETH Server. You can download the setup from the links to install ETH Server.

  • The Endpoint Threat Hunting feature is available only in the clients with Microsoft Windows operating system.
  • The Endpoint Threat Hunting feature is not supported for EPS roaming clients.

Installing ETH Server

To install ETH Server, follow these steps:

  1. Log on to Seqrite Endpoint Security Web console.
  2. Go to Admin Settings > Server > ETH Server.
  3. In the section, Installing and accessing ETH Server, download the setup from the link:
    For 32-bit installer
    https://dlupdate.quickheal.com/builds/seqrite/760/en/sqeth32.exe
    For 64-bit installer
    https://dlupdate.quickheal.com/builds/seqrite/760/en/sqeth64.exe
  4. Launch the setup on the system where you want to install ETH Server.
    • Add ETH Server on the same EPS Server machine, if number of endpoints are less than 5000.
    • Add ETH Server on a different machine if number of endpoints are more than 5000.
  5. After the installation is complete, add ETH Server in the EPS console.

Adding ETH Server

To add ETH Server, follow these steps:

  1. Log on to Seqrite Endpoint Security Web console.
  2. Go to Admin Settings > Server > ETH Server.
  3. In the Configuration of Endpoint Threat Hunting (ETH) server section, do the following.
    1. In the ETH Server Name/IP text box, type the host name or IP address of the ETH server.
    2. In ETH Server Port text box, type the port number of the ETH server.
  4. Click Test Connection button to test the connection. If the connection is successful, the success message appears.
  5. Click Apply to apply the settings. The success message appears.
    When ETH server is installed and configured, all the EPS clients will be connected to ETH server except clients installed on Windows XP and 2003 operating systems.
    Administrator should ensure, there is direct connectivity of all EPS clients, clients from same branch as well as from other branches to the ETH Server.

Launching ETH Server

To launch Endpoint Threat Hunting page,
On EPS Home page, click link Endpoint Threat Hunting.
ETH Dashboard appears.

Removing ETH Server

To remove the ETH Server, follow these steps.

  1. Log on to Seqrite Endpoint Security Web console.
  2. Go to Admin Settings > Server > ETH Server.The ETH Server Name/IP and Port number appears.
  3. Click Remove to remove the ETH Server.
  4. The confirmation message appears. Click Yes.
    The ETH Server is removed.
