Email Notifications

The Email Notifications feature empowers administrators to receive prompt email notifications for critical events, ensuring they stay informed about important incidents in the Seqrite ZTNA ecosystem. Thus, they stay connected and respond to event alerts.

These events come in two types:

Schedule-Based Notifications

Alerts triggered according to predefined schedules. The scheduled daily email for the following events will be sent at 1 AM.

Certificate

  • Certificate about to expire in 7 days
  • Certificate about to expire in 30 days
  • Certificate is expired

Site

  • DNS verification is pending for Site.

Blocked Connections

  • Zero Trust
  • WAF Rules
  • Firewall Policies
  • DDoS Policies

Event-Based Notifications

Alerts triggered by specific occurrences.

App Connector

  • App Connector email notifications are delivered for the following instances
  • – App Connector is Disconnected
    – App Connector is in Active/ Passive status
    – App Connector is Installed/ Upgraded/Uninstalled
    – App COnnector is Added/ Removed from a group

    · License-Based Limits:

    o Trial License: Allows up to 1 app connector group (with a maximum of 3 app connectors per group).

    o Standard License: Allows up to 3 app connector groups (with a maximum of 3 app connectors per group).

    o Enterprise License: Allows an unlimited number of app connector groups and app connectors.

    · Installer Button Disabled: Once the installation limit for app connectors or groups is reached based on the user’s license type, the Download Installer button in the App Connector → Deployment Tab will be disabled.

     

Application

  • Application found in 'publish failed' state.

Policies

  • Zero Trust policies found in Added/Deleted/Edited/ Enabled/ Disabled/Publish Failed state
  • Firewall policies found in Added/Deleted/Edited/ Enabled/ Disabled/Publish Failed state
  • DDoS policies found in Added/Deleted/Edited/ Enabled/ Disabled/Publish Failed state

Device Posture

  • Device Posture check is disabled
  • Non-Compliant devices

For setting up email notification preferences, you can include a minimum of one and a maximum of five email addresses for recipients. You can use distribution list emails to simplify sending messages to multiple recipients by allowing you to group them without entering each address individually.. Select the specific events for which you want to receive notifications from the provided list. After selecting your options, click "Apply" to activate the chosen email notification settings. A toggle in the upper-right corner protects these settings against unintentional changes.
