Downloading the Windows Client Package
To download the Endpoint Protection Windows client package, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Seqrite CSM Console.
- Navigate to Deployment.
- Download the Windows client package using either the Online Installer or Email Installer option.
- Select the appropriate package based on the target endpoint architecture:
- Windows 64-bit (SUAwin64.zip)
- Windows 32-bit (SUAwin32.zip)
Deploying Windows Clients Using ManageEngine
To deploy Endpoint Protection clients using the Custom Script method in ManageEngine, follow these steps:
- In ManageEngine, select Windows from the Add Packages drop-down menu.
- Enter the package details:
- Package Name: Specify a name for the package.
- Package Type: Select .exe.
- License Type: Select Non-Commercial.
- Locate Installable: Browse and select the downloaded Windows client package (for example, SUAwin64.zip).
- Configure the installation command:
- Command with Switches/Arguments:
SUA_windows-x64.exe -q
Note: Use the appropriate executable name based on the downloaded package.
- Command with Switches/Arguments:
- Navigate to:
Software Deployment > Deployment > Install/Uninstall Software > Computer Configuration under the Windows section. - Configure the deployment settings:
- Name: Specify a deployment name.
- Operation Type: Select Install.
- Package Name: Select the package created in the previous steps.
- Deployment Policy: Select Deploy any time at the earliest.
- Define the target endpoints:
- Select the required Remote Office or Domain.
- Specify the target endpoint IP addresses, if required.
- To automatically retry failed deployments, select Retry this Configuration on failed Targets.
- Click Deploy Immediately to start the deployment.
- Verify that the deployment is completed successfully and that the Endpoint Protection client is installed on the target endpoints.
