You can edit a user from the Seqrite Centralized Security Management console as well as from the particular point product such as Seqrite mSuite, Seqrite EndPoint Security Cloud, Data Privacy or ZTNA. You can edit the personal details such as first name, last name, mobile number, phone number, and user role. You can also enable or disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for that user.
Note: Only the Super Admin can Enable or Disable 2FA for users. The user will be notified by email.
To edit the user, follow these steps:
- Log on to the Seqrite Centralized Security Management portal.
- Go to User. The Users page appears displaying list of users.
- Click the Edit icon for the user that you want to edit.
- The Edit User dialog appears.
- Edit the information as required.

If you change Seqrite Centralized Security Management User Role to User, the Enable Two-factor Authentication (2FA) option does not appear in the window.
If you change to other roles, select the Enable Two Factor Authentication (2FA) check box and
select the SMS-based OTP check box, if required, to allow the user to receive an OTP on the user’s registered and verified mobile number.Note: ☛
At present, SMS-based OTP authentication is available for mobile numbers with ISD code +91. This means that users with mobile numbers registered in India can receive a one-time password via SMS for authentication purposes. - Click Save. The information is updated.
