Migration Process Overview
This migration process will facilitate the transfer of data, including client information, groups, policies, admin settings, and global configurations, from EPP 8.3 to the EPP Cloud. After exporting the necessary data from the EPP Server and importing it into the EPP Cloud tenant, you will find all the migrated EPP endpoints in offline mode. Next, download the .dat file from the cloud tenant and issue the migration command for the migrated endpoints via the EPP Console under Client Actions.
Exporting Data
To export the data, follow these steps:
- Go to Seqrite Endpoint Protection 8.3 Console > Deployment > Migration tab.
- Select the Migrate to Cloud option.
- Click Export to initiate the export process for your EPP 8.3 data.
- A zip file containing the exported data will be created and automatically downloaded to your local system.
