Setting up “Help-Documentation” for EPP Server

This section explains how to download, extract and integrate help files for the EPP server.
Starting from version 8.5.1, help content is no longer included in the installer and is set up separately. In most cases, the help content is automatically downloaded and integrated into the console after successful activation.
However, if the help content is not available due to download or extraction issues, you can complete the setup manually using the steps below.

Prerequisites

Ensure the following before proceeding:

  • EPP 8.5.1 server is successfully installed and activated on a Windows system
  • (To verify the version, click the username at the top-right corner and select About .)

  • You have access to the server with appropriate administrative privileges

Steps

Follow these steps if help files are not auto-integrated to your EPP console.

  1. After successful server deployment, download the help package from this CDN location: https://dlupdate.quickheal.com/builds/seqrite/85/en/help/endpoint-protection-ng.zip

In case of multi-site setup, go to this link to download the help package:
    https://dlupdate.quickheal.com/builds/seqrite/85/en/help/endpoint-protection-ng-agr.zip

  2. If your server has internet access, you can directly extract the help package from the downloaded file to the location specified below.
  3. For offline environments:
    • Download the package on a system with internet access
    • Transfer it to the server using external storage (for example, a USB drive)
  4. Extract the contents to the following directory:
  5. installationPath\deployment\clientpackager\

    Example:

    C:\Program Files\Seqrite\EndpointProtection\Admin\deployment\clientpackager\

Ensure the files are placed and extracted correctly to enable help access from the console.

Once extracted, the help content becomes available for use from the server console.

Note: If you choose not to perform these steps manually, you can allow the process to complete automatically. The system is configured to update the help content at 6-hour intervals, after which it will be available in the console.

Verification

After completing the setup:

  • Return to the EPP console
  • Click the ? icon
  • Verify that the online documentation portal is accessible

If the issue persists, review logs by navigating to Admin > Activity Logs, or contact Support for further assistance.
