The Policy Preview feature provides a consolidated view of all the settings configured in a policy. It enables administrators to review policy configurations before applying them to endpoints, helping ensure that the policy contains the intended settings.
The Policy Preview page displays all enabled features and their configured settings in a structured, read-only view. You can also search for specific features, expand or collapse feature sections, export the policy details to a PDF, or navigate directly to the policy for further modifications. This feature helps simplify policy review, auditing, and documentation.
Viewing a Policy Preview
To view the configuration of a policy:
- Log on to the Seqrite Endpoint Protection console.
- Go to Policies.
- Create a new policy or edit an existing policy.
- On the Policy Settings page, click Policy Preview.
The Policy Preview page displays the complete configuration of the selected policy.

The Policy Preview page displays the following information:

| Policy Type | Displays the type of policy, such as Container Policy or Feature Policy. |
| Description | Displays the policy description. |
| Feature Search | Searches for a specific feature or policy section within the preview. |
| Expand All | Expands all feature sections to display their configured settings. |
| Collapse All | Collapses all expanded feature sections for easier navigation. |
| Edit Policy | Opens the selected policy in edit mode. |
| Export to PDF | Exports the complete policy configuration as a PDF document. |
Exporting a Policy
The Export to PDF option generates a PDF document containing the complete policy configuration. The exported document can be used for documentation, review, auditing, or sharing policy settings with other administrators.
To export a policy:
- Open the required policy in Policy Preview.
- Click Export to PDF.
- Save the generated PDF to the required location.
The exported PDF contains the configured settings for all enabled policy features. The PDF file is named using the policy name, followed by the date and time of export.
Searching for a Feature
The Feature Search option helps you quickly locate a specific feature or policy section within the policy preview.
To search for a feature:
- Open Policy Preview.
- Enter the feature name in the Feature Search box.
The matching feature sections are displayed.
Notes
- The Policy Preview page is a read-only view of the policy configuration.
- Only the settings configured for the selected policy are displayed.
- To modify a policy, click Edit Policy, make the required changes, and save the policy.
- The exported PDF reflects the policy configuration at the time of export.
