The Shadow Copy Storage Server configuration enables managed endpoints to securely upload files identified during Data Loss Prevention (DLP) events. The uploaded files are encrypted before transmission and stored on the configured Shadow Copy Storage Server for auditing and investigation.
Before enabling Shadow Copy in a DLP policy, configure the Shadow Copy Storage Server settings. Shadow Copy relies on this configuration to upload and store shadow copies of files captured during DLP events.
