Installing Seqrite Client on Windows

Follow these steps to install Seqrite Endpoint Protection on your Windows device:

  1. Copy the Client Installer created from Online/Standalone Installer to Windows system.
  2. Extract the zip file on the system.
  3. Execute the installer file. The name of installer file, as per the options selected is as follows,
    • 32-bit with AV – clagav32
    • 32-bit without AV – clagnt32
    • 64-bit with AV – clagav64
    • 64-bit without AV – clagnt64
    • Minimal – minimal.exe
  4. On executing the installer file, the Seqrite Client Agent is installed.

Quick Access Options

Seqrite Endpoint Protection can be accessed through the taskbar navigation menu.

The following quick access options will be available under Seqrite Endpoint Protection system tray icon when only Seqrite EPP is installed on the endpoint.

Open Seqrite Endpoint Protection Helps you launch Seqrite Endpoint Protection.
Launch AntiMalware Helps you launch Seqrite AntiMalware, an integrated tool that helps you scan registry, files, and folders at a very high speed. It helps you to thoroughly detect and clean Spywares, Adwares, Roguewares, Dialers, Riskwares and a number of other potential threats in your system.
Enable / Disable Silent Mode Helps you enable / disable all Seqrite prompts and notifications.
Safe Banking Helps you launch Safe Banking. In Safe Banking, you can do banking transactions safely.
Secure Browse Helps you launch your default browser in Sandbox for secure browsing.
Enable / Disable Virus Protection Helps you enable / disable Seqrite Virus Protection.
Remote Support Helps you launch Remote Support.
Update Now Helps you update Seqrite Endpoint Protection.
Scan Memory Helps you scan system memory for viruses.
Virtual Keyboard Helps you launch virtual keyboard.
Allow Temporary Device Access Helps you allow temporary device access.

Sync Now Helps in synchronizing the endpoint with the applied policies.

 

The EPP product along with the following quick access options is available under the SUA system tray icon when both Seqrite Endpoint Protection and Seqrite Universal Agent (SUA) version 1.3.9 or above are installed on the endpoint.:

Options Description
Open Seqrite Endpoint Protection Launches Seqrite Endpoint Protection.
Update Signatures Helps you update Seqrite Endpoint Protection.
Request Temporary Device Access Helps you to avail Temporary Device Access. Note that this option is visible only if Advance Device Control is enabled from policy

Synchronize Policies Helps in synchronizing the endpoint with the applied policies.
