Group Action

This section explains how to use the Group Client Actions feature, which allows you to perform bulk operations on multiple endpoints, similar to individual client actions.

Available Actions

From the dropdown menu, you can choose any of the following actions:

• Scan – Initiate a scan on all endpoints.
• Update – Apply updates to all endpoints.

• Upgrade Client – Upgrade Client on all endpoints

You can perform actions on endpoints by selecting either:

1. Root Group (Server)

Selecting the root group automatically selects all endpoints under it.
Even if pagination is set to display only 10 endpoints per page (or 20, 30, etc.), all endpoints are selected in the background.
Once selected, you can apply any of the available actions from the dropdown.

2. Individual Groups

You can also select specific groups (other than the root group and under the root group).
Actions will be applied only to the endpoints within the selected group.

Note:

• When the upgrade command is initiated from console on agent version 10.13.0.0, the endpoint action logs will display the action status as Failed and if it is initiated on 10.13.1.0, it will be displayed as Skipped.
• In both the above cases, the agent functionality will not be affected.
