The Discovery and Classification dashboard provides a visual overview of data discovery scan results across connected data sources and devices. It helps administrators identify sensitive data, view top matched classifiers, track scan coverage, and monitor high-risk assets across the organization.
The Tag Analysis dashboard provides visual representations of compliance metrics and reporting capabilities to support ongoing compliance management. It additionally offers a summary of the identified data organized into specific tags pertaining to PCI, HIPAA, and COPPA.
Navigating to Dashboard
- Log on to Seqrite Data Privacy (SDP) console.
- From the navigation menu, go to Analytics >> Dashboard .
- Switch between the two primary sub-views based on your operational focus:
- Data Sources: The Data Sources tab details how sensitive data is distributed across enterprise repositories and cloud infrastructure.
- Devices: The Devices tab provides endpoint-centric visibility into sensitive data residing on user machines.
Dashboard Metrics
Both the Data Sources and Devices tabs display four key metrics for a quick overview of your scan status.
Data Source
| Metric | Description |
| Classified records | Total volume of sensitive PII records discovered. |
| Matched Classifier | Number of unique classifiers detected. |
| Visual Marked Files | Total count of sensitive files visually flagged. |
| Classification by category | Interactive pie chart visualizing data distribution across Classifier Categories and Subcategories. |
| Matched classifiers | Quick view of the top 5 most frequently detected classifiers, with a View All option for full drill-down. |
| Classifiers wise number of instances | Visual rankings of classifiers across instances (Data Sources), with a View All option for full drill-down. |
| Instances wise matched classifiers | Detailed split of completed scans (scheduled vs. on demand) per instance or device. device. |
| Classified records per instance | Shows where the most sensitive data is stored, with a View All option for full drill-down. |
| Classified records by data source category | Group-level distribution by data source category (Databases, Cloud Storage, File Servers) and device groups. |
| Instance wise & total completed scans | Shows the number of scans completed for each instance and across all instances, with a View All option for full drill-down. |
Devices
