Consent Campaign

Consent Campaigns allows admin to create and manage campaigns that enable data principals to provide consent or manage their existing consent preferences.

Once a campaign is created, the corresponding campaign link is generated through an external API.

Key Features

• Bulk Consent Campaigns: Send consent requests to multiple leads or existing contacts at once.
• DPO and Support Requests: Share consent links with data principals who want to update or withdraw their consent.
• External Portals and Workflows: Integrate consent collection into external applications, CRM systems, or support workflows.

Navigating to Consent Campaign

1. Log in to the Seqrite Data Privacy (SDP) console.
2. From the navigation menu, go to Consent Management.
3. Select Consent Campaigns.

You will see the listing page containing all active consent campaigns along with their name, API link, number of links generated, generation and access status, and creation date and time.

Create a Consent Campaign

To create a consent campaign, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Seqrite Data Privacy (SDP) console.
2. From the navigation menu, select Consent Management >> Consent Campaign.
3. Click Create Campaign.
4. Enter the following details:
   • Campaign Name: Name of the campaign.
   • Host URL: URL where the consent form or preference center is hosted.
   • Campaign Type: Select one of the following:
     • Consent Form: Allows new data principal to provide consent.
     • Preference Center: Allows existing data principal to manage their current consent preferences.

   Note: The Preference Center option is applicable only for registered users.

5. If the data principal exists, select the required form from the drop-down list and click Next.
6. If the data principal does not exist, select one of the following behaviors:
   • Return Error: Returns an error indicating that the data principal was not found.
   • Send Alternative Consent Form: Generates a link to an alternative consent form for a new data principal. Select the required alternative consent form from the list.
7. Based on the selected campaign type, choose the target Consent Form or Preference Center from the drop-down list.
8. Click Next.
9. In the Set Availability Duration section, configure how long the generated campaign link remains valid:
   • Always Active: The generated link remains active indefinitely.
   • One-time Use Only: The link expires after a consent choice is submitted.
   • Timer-based Expiration Active: The link expires after the specified duration.
10. Click Publish Campaign.

The consent campaign is published.

Consent Campaign User Actions

Following actions can be performed on the consent campaign:

• Pause New Link Generation: Pauses the generation of campaign link
• Pause Link Access: Pauses the link access to end user.
• Terminate Campaign: Terminates the campaign link
